HB250 – A Opioid Tax

This seems like a good idea both locally and nationally as a way to raise funds to get opioid addicts into treatment.  HB250 imposes a tax on the first sale of opioids in Delaware at a rate of 10% of the purchase price. Prescription drugs used exclusively for the treatment of opioid addiction are excluded from the tax.

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 30 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO OPIOID TAX.
