Woodburn, on Kings Highway in Dover. It is the official residence of the Governor of Delaware, though it has been some time since the Governor of Delaware actually lived in the house. The house was built in 1798 for Charles Hillyard. In 1965, Gov. Charles Terry suggested the state buy the house, and it became the first Governor’s Mansion. Photo by xzmattzx.
