Villa Monterey, on Corinne Court in Penny Hill. The houses were built in 1923, and are around a courtyard, connected by arched openings. A Mediterranean architectural style was used, rare for Delaware. The development was created by Claude Banta, who also developed Tuxedo Park and Lyndalia near Newport. Photo by xzmattzx.
