The 62nd District Strategy – She’s Back

There is a scene in the original V: The Series, where our heroine Juliet Parrish watches with horror as an alien Visitor Shuttle lands on her property and she screams “Oh my god, they’re back!”

That is my reaction to learning that convicted misdemeanon (as opposed to felon) Kathy McGuiness is running for office once again. Because really, what else is she going to do, having no useable skills for life in the real world.

From the State News: Former State Auditor Kathy McGuiness has officially filed a campaign committee for the 14th District seat in Delaware’s House of Representatives, according to the state’s campaign finance reporting website.

Ms. McGuiness was elected Delaware’s auditor of accounts in 2018, serving in the post until her resignation in October 2022 following convictions of misdemeanor official misconduct and conflict of interest related to the hiring of her daughter within the office.

She now faces a primary with Claire Snyder Hall and Marty Rendon

Here is the updated list of all the statewide and local races.
