The Wilmington & Western Railroad has two Christmas-themed trains: the Santa Claus Express, and the Holiday Lights Express. The Santa Claus Express operates during the day in November and December, and the Holiday Lights Express operates in the evenings in November and December. The railroad began in 1872 as a short line railroad that brought goods from kaolin mines and the mills along Red Clay Creek to the Port of Wilmington. Photo by xzmattzx.
