The House and Senate have passed House Bill 130 unanimoulsy that will allow state causal, temporary or seasonal employees to enroll in the state pension/retirement plan. Currently, because they are causal, temporary, or seasonal employees, for reasons passing human understanding, they are excluded from the state’s 457(b) pension plan.
