Bill allowing Seasonal and Casual Employees to Participate in the State Pension Plan Sent to Carney

The House and Senate have passed House Bill 130 unanimoulsy that will allow state causal, temporary or seasonal employees to enroll in the state pension/retirement plan. Currently, because they are causal, temporary, or seasonal employees, for reasons passing human understanding, they are excluded from the state’s 457(b) pension plan.
