Earlier this week, the State Senate entered into Special Session called by President Pro-Tempore Senator Dave Sokola (D) to initiate the removal of State Auditor Kathleen McGuiness from office due to her criminal convitions of abuse of office.
Here is the Resolution the Senate voted on. The resolution passed 13 to 7 to 1. Here is the vote breakdown.
|Senate Concurrent Resolution 128 Sponsors||Yes Votes||No Votes|

Senator Darius Brown, familiar recently with criminal proceedings and violent assault himself, voted with the criminal approving Republicans.
Yet the resolution is already essentially dead because the corrupt Speaker, Pete Schwartzkopf, chose to protect his “friend” Kathy McGuiness from having to face accountability from the General Assembly. He announced in the statement below that he will not bring the House of Representatives back into session to vote on this resolution.
House Democrats now face a choice: either be labeled as corrupt themselves for going along with their leader; or call for his immediate resignation and the election of a new leadership team at the earliest opportunity.
