At first glance, they moved outgoing Representative Gerald Brady’s’ 4th RD in Wilmington down to Long Neck in Sussex County. I am very disappointed that they did not combine the two northern New Castle County Republican districts, the 21st and 22nd RDs represented by Michael Smith and Mike Ramone. Instead, they placed Ramone in the 23rd with Paul Baumbach. Baumbach though should not be concerned, as he will easily dispatch Ramone.
The maps of the proposed 41 districts, as well as a registration link for the House’s hybrid hearing at 6 p.m. on Monday, October 18, is available on the legislative redistricting website. The hearings will provide the public opportunities to provide their input and suggestions on the draft House district maps.
