Medicaid Dental Coverage Passes House

State Representative Dave Bentz: “With the passage of [Senate Bill 92(S)], we are granting Medicaid recipients access to affordable dental care. Regular dental care, just like regular physical checkups, is healthcare. Dental issues can go far beyond the teeth, creating problems extending to the face, jaw and neck.”

“Delaware was one of three states, including Tennessee and Arkansas, to not offer this needed care. I’m glad that were were able to pass this legislation to change that statistic, and hopefully change the lives of thousands of Delawareans. “

It is quite embarrassing to be in a club with Alabama and Tennessee, two southern confederate states who have become backwards theocracies under Republican rule. Thankfully we have left that club. Seven Republicans voted no. I guess they like their poor without their teeth, and without their healthcare.

WHERE IS SB92(S) NOW? Passed Senate 21-0. Passed House 33-7-1.
