June 15 was Separation Day, when the Three Lower Counties of Pennsylvania decided that we had listened to the tyrannical William Penn long enough, and declared our independence from the nefarious Commonwealth. This occurred just prior the nation’s own independence in June 1776. Photo by xzmattzx.
