Trump Screams at Sen. Coons

President Donald Trump spotted Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) in the White House’s Blue Room at the National Prayer Breakfast last week and got “in his face” about the abortion issue currently being debated in New York and Virginia, according to Politico. “He saw a Democrat in the room, a Democrat who’s known to be a person of faith, and he was like, ‘Why aren’t you speaking out about this?’” a source told Politico.

Another source who was in the room confirmed the account, describing the moment as both “awkward” and attention-grabbing. Rarely has Trump been so vocal about abortion when the masses aren’t watching, this person said. (A Coons spokesman declined to comment.)

If Chris Coons did not immediately and loudly scream back at Trump “How many abortions did you pay for, Mr. President?,” then I will join my colleague Jason330 from Delaware Liberal and call for Senator Coons’ immediate resignation.

  1. honestly surprised he didnt roll over and present his belly for rubs. You know he’s super jealous of Graham and Cruz

  2. Meh, Since Coons sold us out with the anti-BDS bill, I look at this as karma.

  3. Suspect Trump is getting ready to snap, dare say McTurtle laid it on him about the potential shut down and that there will be no wall worthy of the name. Fell the same about the little man’s anti-BDS bill, begs the question just what has AIPAC got on him.

  4. I like “How many abortions did you pay for, Mr. President?”

    • I think I might have gone with, “You’re not as fat as you look on TV.”

  5. So the president calls him out and attacks him for being a critical and you all are pissed and think Coons is his best friend? Ridiculous. And get over him hosting a bipartisan prayer breakfast, the dude has a divinity degree, kinda makes sense.

    • A divinity degree just means he’s into cults and believes in magic.
Shows he’s just the kind of fool to think that the GOP would ever “bipartisan” in good faith… or that AIPAC is anything other than a right wing extremest organization. It isnt about what they have ON him, it’s what they have invested IN him and how replaceable he is. He doesn’t have a base at all. He wins because he’s a democrat and is only a senator because he won the fucking wing-nut lottery with the Teagbag party retiring Mike Castle.

  6. He doesn’t have a base? Look I’m on of you, I’m a progressive, but you all thinking we are the Delaware electorate never fails to amaze. Also Chris is possibly the most progressive statewide.

    • Voting to punish free speech to the benefit of Benjamin Netanyahu does not make him a progressive.

Delaware will vote for the Democrat. You think people LOVE John Carney? no. He was the only choice and most voters run down the party line. the neoliberal strangle-hold on the state party ensures trmp appeasers like Coons or No-shows like LBR get to take up space and receive Insurance lobby checks.
