A new Reuters/Ipsos poll shows that “across the country, people are seething. After a vitriolic 2016 presidential election, anger continues to dominate public discourse, from raucous protests with huge crowds to incensed social media debates that tear families and friendships apart.”
“That anger will drive voters to the polls in next month’s elections – and greater rage among Democratic voters could give the party’s candidates a boost.”
“Angry Americans will be more likely to vote, and Democrats are generally more angry about their hot-button issues than Republicans… That is a change from two years ago, when Republicans and Democrats were equally furious.”

U.S. SENATE
NEW JERSEY—Rutgers-Eagleton poll—Menendez 51—Hugin 46
Said pollster Ashley Koning: “After his recent onslaught of attack ads against Menendez, Hugin is making this race much closer than it should be for an incumbent in a blue state. But what’s most responsible for the narrow margin here is the corruption charges against Menendez that have haunted his entire re-election campaign. Mistrial or not, the charges have dampened support where Menendez needs it most – with independents and even a handful of his own base.”

A new Politico/Morning Consult poll finds that 49% of voters say that Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) decision to release the results of a DNA test indicating she has some Native American ancestry makes no difference in their view of her.
A new USA Today/Suffolk University Poll finds that more than six in 10 likely voters say Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court after facing allegations of sexual assault makes them more likely to vote for one party or the other.
Despite the conventional wisdom that the fight energized the GOP base, these voters are more likely to say it has spurred them to support Democrats.
Interesting to note that while the “migrant caravan” and it’s images were a big gift for Trump the exploit it’s all been snatched away by what I’m calling the MagaBomber.
