The Andrew Eliason House, on Summit Bridge Road in Summit. The house was built in 1856, and is one of the more famous “peach mansions” north of Middletown that were famous for producing most of the nation’s peach crop until the late 1800s.  Photo by xzmattzx.

  1. …And then the blight killed the Delaware peach industry. Probably used to be some American Chestnut trees on that farm also (blighted). Looks like a Federal-style house with a little Greek Revival thrown in….Beautiful house.
