The old Mount Pleasant School, in Bellevue State Park in Brandywine Hundred. The school was built in 1830, and was used as a school until 1865, when is became part of the estate. The building was given Colonial Revival detailing when the estate was bought by William DuPont, Jr. Photo by xzmattzx.
