The bill passed 25-3, with 11 Republican Representatives too scared of the NRA to do their jobs and vote.
Three Republicans that could be facing tough reelection battles in competitive districts voted yes: Michael Ramone, Debbie Hudson and Kevin Hensley.
Two pro-NRA Democrats who must enjoy the organization’s recent attacks against the student survivors of Parkland, Mike Mulrooney and Bill Carson, voted no. Time for them to consider joining the eight lawmakers retiring. Joe Miro and Melanie George Smith was absent. The bill now moves onto the Senate.
