Continuing Resolution is Passed Both Chambers with Carper and Coons as YES Votes

There are the Senate Dems who voted NO on the CR:

Note that neither Carper or Coons are on this list.  Neither one of them.

What is in this bill:

  •  Funds government through 1/19
  • Extends Sec. 702 of FISA through 1/19
  • PAYGO waiver so automatic spending cuts due to the size of the tax smash and grab do not go into effect in Jan.
  • $2.85B CHIP funding through March 31
  • $1.4B for several other health programs
  • $4B for missile defense
  • $700M for Navy ship repairs

You don't make progress by standing on the sidelines, whimpering and complaining. You make progress by implementing ideas. -- Shirley Chisolm

  2. Behold the evil dance of the DINOS as they sell out, “reach across the aisle” and play the Republicans game. Quick show of hands: who will join me and hate on these two adorable cherubs from hell?

Wow, it is the end of the year and companies are giving our bonuses! It’s like that has never happened before! Plus, ATT had negotiated the $1K payment earlier this year. Plus ATT is laying people off this week. BUT HEY! It’s like no company has ever laid any one off at the end of the budget year to make the books look good.
