The Kensey Johns House, on 3rd Street in New Castle. The house was built in 1789 by Johns, who served as Chief Justice for the State of Delaware. To the right of the house was Johns’ office. The house sits at one of the most prominent locations in New Castle, and is just a half-block from the old New Castle County Courthouse.
