Walker’s Mill, on Rising Sun Lane in Henry Clay Village. The mill was built in 1815 as a cotton and cassimere mill. A.I. DuPont bought the mill in 1843, and converted it to weaving. The mill operated into the 1930s. Photo by xzmattzx.
