A new Fox News poll finds Democrats lead Republicans in the generic congressional ballot by 15 points, 50% to 35%. The poll also found that Trump’s approval rating is at 38%, a new low.
A new Politico/Morning Consult poll finds that “56 percent of Americans say President Trump is reckless, while 31 percent disagree,” said Morning Consult co-founder and Chief Research Officer Kyle Dropp. “Even among Republicans, 33 percent think this is an accurate characterization — notably higher than the percentage of Republicans that disapprove of the president overall, 20 percent.”
A new Quinnipiac poll in New Jersey finds Phil Murphy (D) with a huge lead over Kim Guadagno (R) in the race for governor, 57% to 37%.
Said pollster Peter Brown: “Politics is a team game. Guadagno’s GOP teammates — President Trump, with a 33% job approval rating, and Gov. Chris Christie, with his 15% approval rating — are clearly pulling her down.”
More Americans than ever think marijuana should be legal, according to a new Gallup poll that found a majority of Republicans supporting legalization for the first time ever.
The 64 percent of Americans who told Gallup they support making marijuana legal is the most in the nearly 50 years Gallup has asked the question. It also represents a more-than-fivefold increase over the 12 percent of Americans who said they supported legalization the first time Gallup asked, in 1969.

Oh my…
Polling in that race is all over the place.
But most polls show the Democrat ahead. Of course, if winning by race-baiting is your thing, xyz, you should say so. I’m pretty sure race-baiters aren’t welcome ’round these parts.
You mean race baiting like removing your black running mate from your campaign mailer at the behest of your union supporters? Actually that would probably be classified as race pandering.
Exactly. And it’s exactly the move you’d expect once a racist like yourself has pissed in the waters.
The mailing was from a union that endorsed Northam but not his running mate. A candidate has no control over third party mailings. I was the endorsed candidate for office in 2012 and some organization sent out mailings with all the endorsed statewide Democrats but me, supporting instead the incumbent, That is their right, I didn’t blame the Party or the head of the ticket,
I am sure Northam and the Party are not happy about the union mailing as winning depends upon a large turnout from the base-African American and liberal voters.
