Come out to support the Legalization of Marijuana in Delaware

Coming up on Wednesday of this week and later in November, there will be an information sessions and activist training put on by the Delaware Cannabis Advocacy Network and the Delaware NORML to support the passage of HB110, the legalization of marijuana in Delaware.  Here are the whats wheres and whens:

What: Information Session and Activist Training
Where: Wilmington Public Library, 10 East 10th Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19801
When: Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at 6-8 pm

What: Information Session and Activist Training
Where: Bear Library, 101 Governors Avenue, Bear, Delaware 19701
When: Monday, November 13, 2017, at 6-8 pm

The agenda at both meetings will be as follows:

  • History of Cannabis Laws in Delaware
  • HB110 Progress and Specifics
  • Outreach and Call to Action
  • Advocating Policy Change at Legislative Hall
  • How to Testify to a Civic Body

Everyone that is interested in helping legalize cannabis in Delaware, whether you’ve advocated before or not. We will be going over tools that you can use in your own local area to advocate for legalization and ways you can get involved in the ever expanding legalization movement in Delaware. All are welcome.

  1. Any shortcut to a list of state legislators who currently support/oppose, need a gentle push off the fence?

    • The best I can do is give you a list of sponsors of HB110, and by deduction, you can focus on the Democrats and moderate Republicans who are not sponsors. I will compile that info and the info from the vote on decriminalization last year and put it up in a post later today or tomorrow.

  2. My representative and senator are beyond hope with Jeff Spieglman in the house and Bruce Ennis in the senate. Won’t waste my time on State Police uber alles Ennis but may have some fun with Spiegleman who has yet to forgive me for trying to troll him into supporting open carry in the house, senate and supreme court. Came close but at some point he woke up. Bummer.

  3. Problem is this, the Demo’s will squander the tax money away!
