…because we got some overtime action on Sunday coming at ya. As you may know, Representative Andria Bennett voted with the Republicans on HB240, the bill that would have created a new tax bracket and raised taxes on the top two brackets to bring in new revenue to address the structural deficit. And that meant that the budget process collapsed. The Andria Bennett Painful Cuts Budget of 2017, otherwise known as HB275, will be taken up on Sunday at 1 pm. All funding to nonprofits will be eliminated thanks to Andria Bennett and her fellow Republicans.
