HB125 – The Revival of the Death Penalty

So here we have the bill that will seek to reinstate the Death Penalty in Delaware.  The act would revise the now unconstitutional Death Penalty statute by requiring that before a death sentence can be imposed, a jury must first determine unanimously and beyond a reasonable doubt that at least 1 statutory aggravating circumstance exists and whether all of the aggravating circumstances found to exist outweigh all of the mitigating circumstances found to exist.

Or, you know, we can just let the Court’s ruling state and not kill people as punishment in Delaware, a sentence that cannot be reversed if mistaken.

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 11 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE EXTREME CRIMES PROTECTION ACT.

Tonight Rachel Maddow had a program on the death penalty in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Arkansas prepare for a “killing spree”. Problem is the drug they planned to use was not provided by a drug company and the drug planning to be used is the same one used in the botched killing in Oklahoma. Where do the sponsors of this death bill expect to get the drugs to do this state sanctioned murder?
