President Trump melted down completely this morning, once again proving the Saturday Shabbat Theory of Trump Tweeting true (Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are observant orthodox Jews, thus they are home and not using any technology whatsoever between sundown Friday and sundown Saturday, leaving Trump unmanned and thus free t0 go unhinged).

First off, let’s assume what Trump is saying in true. Trump Tower would have only been tapped either through FBI or FISA warrant pursuant to an ongoing investigation of Trump’s personal connections and conversations with Russia. So is Trump confirming that for us? He says he just found out. Did he see something on TV?

This is more than embarrassing. 1) He doesn’t understand any procedures, 2) Breitbart????, 3) He is unhinged, 4) He probably has cause to freak out because, 5) It sure looks like he’s guilty.
So, “the time for trivial fights is behind us” lasted less than a week. Honestly, I didn’t expect it to last that long.
This morning Trump went from tweeting about wire tapping and Russia to this:
The time between the last wire tapping/Russia tweet and the Apprentice tweet? 1 hour, 17 minutes. Unhinged is too kind a description.
He truly does not understand the law. Also, you don’t cover something up by saying that the way you got caught is the problem, not the actual act. It’s the equivalent of this—
Mom: I found drugs in your closet!
Son: Mom, I can’t believe you went in my closet! That’s wrong!
And on a lighter note Trump has no idea what McCarthyism is and probably has no idea who McCarthy was. So maybe Ted Cruz can bring him up to speed? I mean, who better?
