Pressure works, senate Dems are feeling the heat at this point from a mad as hell base and talk of primaries fill the air. Good, we’ve just sat here bitching long enough, way past time to fight and really mean it. DeVos may well be approved, let the Republicans take the blame as this is not going away and it will not end well.
I love this. Of course, the cabinet members will be approved, but the Republicans will own them.
The fight against DeVos will not end with confirmation, she will be the Albatross of Education hung from the neck of the Republican party. They deserve it, she’s totally unqualified and much like Trump a rather transparent fraud. Al Franken’s comment rings true: “Is there any reason, other than that you are rich, why you are here?”.
