The Delaware Court of Chancery, on the Circle in Georgetown. The courthouse was built in 2003, and houses the Court of Chancery, which handles issues of equity and corporate law. The Court of Chancery is one of Delaware’s three constitutional courts, along with the Supreme Court and the Superior Court. The court is unique to the United States, with other states (the the United Kingdom) abolishing their courts of chancery in the mid- to late-1800s.

Delaware politics from a liberal, progressive and Democratic perspective. Keep Delaware Blue.
