Just called Lisa Blunt Rochester’s DC office (202-225-4165) to thank her for joining the Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus and to say that if she decided to skip the inauguration, I would fully support her decision.
The staffer who answered said that LBR has not yet decided what she would do and that she (the staffer) would relay my comments.You think she’d be swayed by lots of constituent calls? We could try!
Let’s do this! Make that call!

And remind her that embarrassing the state is Carper’s job.
