So the state is facing a $350 million dollar budget deficit. And the Republican’s very first solution: a tax cut for the wealthiest of families in Delaware. I truly wonder whether any Republican in the General Assembly ever actually passed a math course. Even a remedial one. Negative $350M – $9.2M = Negative $359.2M. In other words, when you are in a hole, you stop digging. But what the GOP wants to do is make the budget deficit worse. Every Democrat alive in General Assembly is required to vote no on this. In fact, it should never leave committee. That is how unserious a proposal this is.
